Our Story
BumbleBeez was born out of real life chaos, the kind only parents of very young children will truly understand.
Following my second pregnancy with twins, I suddenly found myself juggling newborn twins and an 18-month-old toddler. My hands weren’t just full, they were constantly stretched to their absolute limit. Like so many new parents, I was doing my best to find my way through each day, learning as I went, and often just hoping I was doing enough.
The idea for BumbleBeez came during one of those everyday moments that should feel simple but quickly became overwhelming.
Where it all started
It was bath time, something that should be calming, bonding, and part of a gentle bedtime routine.
But on this particular evening, I was on my own for the first time after my partner had returned to work. I tried to figure out how to safely bathe both babies at the same time. One twin was already in the bath, while the other was still on a changing mat beside me.
And that’s when reality hit me.
To get the second baby into the bath, I had to make a split-second decision, let go of one baby while moving the other, all while trying to ensure neither of them slipped under the water. My heart was racing. My attention was split in every direction. Nothing about it felt safe, calm, or manageable.
And just to add to the moment, my 18-month-old toddler was running around the bathroom demanding ice cream, completely unaware of the stress unfolding around them.
It was overwhelming. Honestly, I felt like I was failing at something that should have been simple.
And it was in that moment, standing there, exhausted, anxious, and trying to keep everyone safe at once, that the idea for BumbleBeez was born.
The idea behind the Twin Bath
The BumbleBeez Twin Bath was designed from a place of real need, not theory.
I realised that the biggest challenge wasn’t just bathing twins, it was trying to do it safely on your own, while also managing everything else that comes with parenting other young children.
The Twin Bath allows babies to be positioned safely side by side, giving them comfort from being close to each other, something that comes naturally to twins and helps them feel calm and secure.
More importantly, it allows parents to keep both babies supported at the same time, reducing the need to constantly switch focus or compromise safety. It gives you back something that often feels impossible in those early months, a free hand, a moment to breathe, and a bit more control during a very vulnerable routine.
Built from experience, for real parents
BumbleBeez wasn’t created in a boardroom or designed as a concept. It came from lived experience, from the reality of parenting multiple very young children at once, and trying to keep everyone safe while barely having enough hands to manage it.
My hope is simple, that no other parent has to feel that same moment of panic and helplessness in the bathroom.
If BumbleBeez can make bath time safer, calmer, and even just a little less stressful for families of twins, then it has done exactly what it was created to do.
Because in those early months, anything that gives parents a bit more ease, safety, and confidence isn’t just helpful, it’s life-changing.
